The Legacy
Founded in 2014 on Khartoum’s Mestel Street with a unique restaurant and butchery concept, Albaraka has grown into a powerful family business operating across Sudan and the Gulf region today. Since our establishment, our core principles have been rooted in quality, trust, halal production, and blending traditional flavors with modern production standards.
Following our first branch, our second branch was launched in the Kafouri area of the Bahri region. In 2015, our discount store, offering both wholesale and retail meat sales, commenced operations in the Khartoum Sharq region.
In 2018, in line with our international growth targets, we opened our third branch in Al Mamzar, Dubai, operating in the restaurant, butchery, and wholesale meat sectors. During this period, "Albaraka Sudan Lamb Carcass" products were brought to consumers across the United Arab Emirates through various wholesale and distribution networks, most notably Carrefour.
Following the civil war in Sudan, our modern, 3-story restaurant with a capacity of 1,000 people was opened in Port Sudan in 2024. In 2026, our new facility with a 1,500-person capacity and a restaurant-butchery concept commenced operations in Omdurman.
Today, Albaraka operates in the following areas:
- • Live animal trade
- • Livestock farming activities
- • Slaughter and processing at international standards
- • Meat export from Sudan to the Gulf countries
- • Production of packaged and processed meat products
- • Restaurant management
- • Domestic market distribution and sales organization
Our packaged and further processed meat products, produced under the "Tayyiba" and "Albaraka" brands, undergo rigorous quality control processes and are presented to both domestic and international markets.
Our goal is to introduce Sudan's natural, organic, and high-quality red meat potential to the world, and to contribute to Turkey-Sudan commercial relations on the African continent by bringing Turkish and Sudanese culinary cultures together at the same table.
Our meat production facility, which has been completed in the Al Qadarif region, will very soon begin production at world standards. In addition, the Albaraka Integrated Meat Facility, which will be established on an area of 20,000 square meters, will perform
butchering and further processed meat production with a daily slaughter capacity of:
4,000 lambs
250 cattle
The facility is planned to become fully operational in 2027.
